JOB SUMMARY:
RT Chemical Technician is needed for a Magna employer. Will support development of new analysis methods for carbon fiber and composite materials. Support other developmental and production programs as required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Support development of new chemical and physical analysis methods for analysis of carbon fiber and downstream composite materials. * Support implementation of developed methods and techniques into developmental and production carbon fiber programs. * Support other departmental programs as required, including as-needed backup support/operation of RT pilot facilities. * Provide Plant and Customer support as requested. Qualifications: * To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and / or Experience: * Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in a scientific or technical field from a four-year college or university with direct laboratory experience in a research environment, or Associate of Science (A.S.) degree with five to ten years of significant laboratory experience in a research environment.
