JOB SUMMARY:
Broadcast International is seeking applicants for the position of Technical Account Specialist (TAS). This person will be responsible to oversee equipment installation repair services at customer remote locations by 3rd party contractors. Jobs are tracked and scheduled through a proprietary data base to include work order distribution, equipment shipments, customer updates, reports generation and invoice completion. The TAS will input detailed information into the database for each Work Order. Position requires excellent organizational skills, multi tasking capabilities and communication skills adequate to handle customer expectations and meet deadline dates. TAS will take inbound calls from customer sites to troubleshoot/resolve equipment, connectivity, and distribution issues and dispatch technicians when no resolution can be reached over the phone. New projects involve satellite and terrestrial networking to a video content delivery platform. Applicants must have a basic understanding of these services as well as IP Networking, routing and switches, and video/audio content distribution sufficient to manage the deployment, installation and service of these networks. The TAS reports to the Director of Operations and works with other departments as required.
