Circle Four Farms is looking for a competitive, outgoing person who is detail oriented, and would like to work in a challenging environment as a part of a team in pork production. Summary of Responsibilities: To learn pork production skills in all phases of a sow farm. To develop leadership skills in an eight month, three-phase training program that prepares an employee to be a Sow Farm Leader by assisting in daily responsibilities and by assuming the sow farm leader role. The employee must pass a test and be recommended by a committee to complete each phase. Requirements: ? Preferred ? Bachelors degree in animal science or related field, or minimum 1 year experience in swine production. ? Proficient in English and math skills ? Willingness to work as a team member ? Ability to follow instructions ? Possess good verbal communication skills ? Possess leadership skills ? Ability to do hard physical labor including: o Must be able to frequently climb over and around penning. o Must be able to walk and stand on concrete for 9 to 12 hours per day, walking down narrow alleys and stepping in and out of penning. o Must be able to walk an average of 2 ? 4 miles per day, occasionally 5 ? 6. o Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. o Must be able to occasionally push, pull, drag 200 lbs o Must be able to frequently work in a leaned over or squatted position. ? Must pass all written and physical exams as administered.
