JOB SUMMARY:

Ride the bus as a Head Start Bus Aide to the bus driver. Use time on the bus as an extention of the classroom by providing a learning environment to Head Start children through games, music and books. Reinforce bus safety rules. Help children on and off the bus. Help the driver with the children's needs. Experience working with pre-school children preferred. Must have high school diploma. Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Prefer persons willing to accept training as licensed bus driver. Must agree to background check. Must be willing to travel including overnight trips to attend meetings and trainings. Must complete a physical examination every four years. Must adhere to RUCD Head Start confidential policies and procedures including dress code.
