Job Summary 3M HIS is currently seeking a Web Developer to work on our flagship product within the Healthcare Coding amp; Billing arena, specifically software for major healthcare facilities throughout the world. This product offering is at the forefront of the Federal Healthcare Reform and we are seeking skills and experience in Java, C# and web application development. Some of the other duties will include the following: * Software design, coding, debugging and integration with Natural Language Processing solutions. * Apply Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and principles in software design and development. * Work with other software engineers, clinical analysts, quality engineers, and other team members to design and build required systems. * Adhere to team design and coding procedures and standards. Basic Qualifications * Bachelorapos;apos;s Degree * Minimum 1 years experience developing browser-based applications * Minimum 1 year experience in Web Services standards and coding * Minimum 3 combined years development experience in Java and/or C# * Minimum 1 year experience with C/C * Minimum 1 year experience using XML and XSLT * Minimum 1 year experience with relational database concepts Preferred Qualifications * Bachelorapos;apos;s Degree in Computer Science * Experience with HTML and JavaScript * Experience in user interface design and human factors * Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) skills * Experience using jQuery * Strong communication skills * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, development environments and tools.
