JOB SUMMARY:
Admissions Representative (MY/SL) Description: To recruit and enroll qualified students for the College within the guidelines provided. Responsible for contacting, interviewing and enrolling prospective students in the College. Duties: Schedule appointments, schedule and conduct Career Planning Sessions (interviews) and enroll prospective students. Conduct quality campus tours with prospective students. Enroll students in programs that are suitable for the student's individual needs. Create a safe environment for prospective students to discover their educational potential. Engage in retention activities and initiatives throughout and participate in New Student Orientation. Meet or exceed recruitment goals as assigned by Director of Admissions. Utilize training and tools provided by Corporate Admissions. Meet or exceed term self-generated lead targets. Develop and maintain an atmosphere conducive to satisfy students' personal and career goals in order to retain a diverse population of active students. Operate within regulatory guidelines at all times. Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions or College Director/President. Qualifications: 0-2 years at EGCG or up to 2 years of industry experience elsewhere. Associate's degree or equivalent credit hours preferred. Microsoft Office Suite experience a plus. Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to be perform as a member of a successful team. Must have the ability to read, understand and carry out instructions in English in written and oral form. Proven ability to achieve recruiting benchmarks. Goal oriented and highly motivated to achieve results. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit. The associate is frequently required to talk and hear. The associate is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
