JOB SUMMARY:
The role of a Food Serviceassociate is to provide extraordinary service to patients, their families and staff by providing a clean and sanitary environment for the preparation and delivery of food. They are responsible for obtaining food and supplies from the storeroom, cleaning and restocking supplies during down times, operating dishwashing machines, cleaning floors, delivering food carts to patient floors and assisting the food and nutrition services with other duties as assigned. The food serviceassociate can truly make a difference by giving friendly, caring, courteous and professional service to every customer. Through their commitment to excellence and dedication, they ensure our healing commitments are met. Entry Rate: 8.84 Benefits Eligible: Yes Shift Details: 24 hours per week This position works from 3-9 PM, Friday through Monday and additional shifts as needed. This position will be required to work assigned holidays.quot; Additional Details: This is a porter position in the cafe at Intermountain Medical Center responsible for the cleanliness of the seating area and waste disposal. Minimum Requirements Read, write, and communicate effectively in English Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to follow instructions Customer service skills Food Handlerapos;s Permit (as required by the County) Physical Requirements Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, Walking Preferred Qualifications Food service work experience Please Note After applying, please check your email often.
