JOB SUMMARY:

Educates prospective members on SelectHealth Medicare products and services. Conducts service and sales in full compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements. Enrolls customers who are eligible in the SelectHealth Medicare Advantage plan.    Acts as the main point of contact representing SelectHealth in telecommunications customer service and sales for SH Medicare products.    Meets Medicare sales and sales development goals as assigned by management. Generates sales as needed to produce and meet expectations.    Conducts sales activities related to inbound call inquiries regarding SelectHealth Medicare products. This includes activities such as respond to inquiries, generates appointments, following-up on leads, referrals, and re-marketing opportunities.    Submits enrollment applications in a complete and timely manner. Follows-up as needed to ensure member expectations are met and applications are processed correctly.    Tracks and responds to leads in the sales tracking system. Follows-up on leads to provide information and discuss Medicare options.    Educates callers on correct use of their plans, including coverage of benefits, utilization, and administrative guidelines, in collaboration with teammates and other departments. Stays current on general plan design and modifications to provide accurate and appropriate information.    Facilitates the prompt resolution of benefits and enrollment questions of potential Medicare Advantage enrollees on the initial call or provides timely follow-up when additional research is required.    Maintains the confidentiality of member s personal information to be compliant with internal confidentiality policy. Maintains customer history in member tracking using correct codes and detailed comments    This is a temporary position expected to continue for three to four months.    Entry Rate: $12.69  Benefits Eligible: No    Minimum Requirements    Two years of inside direct sales or telemarketing experience in a health insurance environment    Intermediate computer skills including experience with word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.    Physical Requirements    Manual dexterity, hearing, seeing, speaking    Preferred Qualifications    Current Health Insurance License for the state of Utah and maintain active licensure for the duration of employment; OR the ability to obtain this license within 2 months of hire date    Bachelor s Degree in marketing, business, or a business related field    Current Life Insurance License for the state of Utah    3 Years of Medicare Advantage Experience    Ability to identify, develop and implement process improvements    Please Note  All positions subject to close without notice  Intermountain Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V
