Job Description This Registered Nurse (RN) position works in a fast-paced GI lab assisting physicians with upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, brochoscopies, etc. The RN rotates assignments as an admitting nurse, procedure room nurse, and recovery room nurse. In the procedure room the Registered Nurse administers conscious sedation under the direction of a physician. The RN is accountable for the provision of safe, efficient and therapeutically effective care. Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards. There is an excellent 8-week orientation program for newly hired RNs. Ideal candidate will demonstrate superb multitasking abilities, and have previous experience working in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Requirements: * Must have a current license as a Registered Nurse which allows you to practice in the state of Utah, or be license eligible. * A current healthcare provider or professional rescuer Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. An original card will be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn. * Must be willing to fulfill call requirement. This position will involve call on week nights and weekends. * Minimum of 1 year RN experience required. Shift Details: This is a part time position to work one eight hour shift a week. Minimum Requirements * Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in state of practice * This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification.
