JOB SUMMARY:
HIS Software Engineer (1206574) needed for a Murray area employer. Job Summary * Responsible to perform full software development lifecycle functions across a wide and varied set of products. * Utilize development technologies consisting of C#, Java, C++, or SQL Server to complete assigned tasks. * Participate on cross-functional teams, coordinate and communicate with Project Managers, Product Analysts, Quality Analysts, and other Software Engineers. REQUIRED SKILLS: Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree * Minimum 7+ years software engineering experience with object oriented programming in the Windows environment * Minimum 5+ combined year(s) experience using C++, C# and/or Java * Minimum 3+ years experience with relational database development Preferred Qualifications Education * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required, a Master's degree is a plus Software Engineering Skills: * 10+ years of software development experience with object oriented programming (i.e. C#, Java, C++) * 5+ years experience with relational database development (i.e. Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle) * 5+ years experience with web development is a plus * 3+ years team lead experience * Solid understanding of multi-tier application design and development * Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) is a major plus * Experience with Mobile Application development is a major plus Team/Communication Skills: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must * Ability to meet timelines set in project plans and produce a high quality product * Ability to work independently and in a team environment * Ability to take individual initiative and responsibility for assignments * Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities * Ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and technology * Ability to effectively communicate ideas and innovate Must be comfortable in fast paced environment with challenging deadlines, and be able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
