JOB SUMMARY:
We are currently looking for an individual in the SALT LAKE area that has extensive Heat Treat experience. Hours + Pay: The hours are 3:30PM to Midnight, overtime available, Generally until 1 or 2 AM. Pay rate will be $16.00 to $18.00/hr. depending on experience and level of knowledge. Must be proficient in, and able to perform the following processes: 1. Quench and Temper of all alloys. 2. Annealing 3. Age Hardening 4. Carburizing 5. Normalizing 6. Vacuum Heat Treating 7. Nitriding Must have practical and and working knowledge of the following: 1. Use of Dewpointer 2. Able to use automated Carbon control systems (Probes) 3. Atmosphere Internal Quench Furnaces 4. Vaccum Furnace operation and controls. 5. General knowledge of Tempering ovens and controls 6. Operation of Rockwell, Superficial and Brinell hardness test equipment.
