JOB SUMMARY:
Essential Functions Provide claims information to external clients Prepare claims files for payment Enter data into accounting system Maintain claims records Verify accuracy of payments before funds are released Non-Essential Functions Research outstanding checks Process administrative and policy refund check requests Physical and Environmental Factors The Claims Processor?s responsibilities will be carried out in an office environment. Most of the work day will be spent seated at a desk doing work on the computer and over the phone. The qualified candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Conflict Resolution Skills Verbal and written communication skills Bookkeeping skills Basic accounting skills Ability to use a ten-key Ability to professionally represent the Company to external clients over the phone Ability to prioritize various duties Credentials and Experience High school diploma or GED Six months to one year of experience in a customer service position
