JOB SUMMARY:

Company designs and hand builds carbon wheels and component systems for mountain and road bikes. Also,manufacture a full line of carbon fiber components including forks, tubing, handlebars, stems, seatposts, and other frame components for many custom frame builders both domestic and abroad. DO YOU HAVE A PASSION FOR CYCLING?? Composite Cure Technician -Prepare Ovens according to engineering specifications to cure parts -secure composite parts with oven carriers -Monitor oven process parameters including oven temperatures, times, and pressures -Follow instructions to safely place and remove product from ovens -Clean finished product using designated tools -Assist other technicians with the department as needed -Maintain clean and safe work environment -High School Diploma or GED -1-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment -Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques -Experience in using hand tools to include temperature gauges, oven mitt, tri-bars, hammers, punches, putty knife and ball wrenches -Ability to read and interpret a variety of routine engineering design drawings -ability to work well with others -Must be able to work in a loud environment with varying temperatures -May be required to work extended hours/shifts -Must be able to lift tools and assemblies weighing up to 60 lbs -requires standing long periods oftime, lifting, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushingm stooping, and stretching are generally required to perform functions of this position
