Concurrent Enrollment Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision from the Concurrent Enrollment Program Administrator, inform Concurrent Enrollment parents and students regarding requirements for Weber State University Concurrent Enrollment program and introduce degrees and certificates available at the institution. Present and distribute information to high school counselors, students, and parents regarding Concurrent Enrollment courses, program procedures, university programs and degrees, scholarship requirements, etc. Responsibilities of this position will include communication with students to recruit them to specific departments and programs on campus. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate enthusiasm and creativity in developing marketing plans and communication efforts to students and parents and assisting in updating of the organization's website. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, English or related field and minimum two years working for a college or university with one year in a concurrent enrollment or recruitment office. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working creatively and collaboratively with high school counselors and concurrent enrollment high school representatives. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Public speaking and presentation experience. Demonstrated proficiency in writing, editing, and e-communications. Proven ability to establish and maintain good working relationship with all levels of people internal and external to the organization, including working effectively in a team setting. Proficiency in databases, data reporting and using data to make effective decisions. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
