JOB SUMMARY:
Become part of a Demo Team with a Dynamic growing company as a Demo Driver Application Specialist. Travel to various dealer and specialty event locations in a New CT660 Cat Vocational truck and trailer; demonstrate Patented Award winning Heatwurx Products in Seamless Asphalt Pavement Preservation to damaged/failed asphalt road surfaces. Work with sales department to promote product effectively, provide Heatwurx training to Dealers, DOT agencies and end users. Along with the background requirements, but you must be able and willing to perform the duties of the job. That includes driving, keeping an accurate log book, being able to couple and uncouple a trailer and, when applicable, assist with the loading or unloading of the trailer, Equipment Tool maintenance and cleaning. Safely operate in a Skid-Steer, Small Asphalt Compactor, Raking Shoveling in Asphalt Paving application environment provided a quality cosmetic finish. These duties include performing live demonstrations in front of potential customers and Caterpillar dealers. Have the ability to be away from home up to 2 week (14 days) at a time. Desired Experience Qualifications ? 3 years of experience with asphalt paving and road construction ? 3 years of experience operating skid steers ? Preference for someone who has worked with Caterpillar equipment ? Minimum 21 years of age ? Ability to work in a cooperative manner with teams, superiors and others in the industry ? Must be flexible enough to respond positively to changes in schedule based on the needs of the Client ? High School diploma or GED ? US Citizen or ability to obtain permanent Immigration and Naturalization Service resident or work status ? Valid Commercial Driver? A CLASS Double Trailer License. 3 years of experience ? Acceptable driving record with: ? No more than 1 moving violation within last year ? No DOT major violations within the last 3 years ? No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years ? CMV accident history is subject to review ? No alcohol related convictions within the previous 5 years ? Recent verifiable satisfactory work history ? No positive drug or alcohol test ? Able to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen ? Subject to background investigation, including but not limited to: criminal history, FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) Pre-Employment screening report, driving record and previous employment inquiries. ?
