The EKG technician provides a valued role in administering quality non-invasive EKGs to inpatients and outpatients. In this exciting role, the EKG tech interfaces with physicians and allied medical professionals. The EKG tech is an asset to the physicians as they are relied upon to provide accurate test interpretations. They ensure proper patient identification and accurately complete orders and patient billing. They perform routine maintenance of equipment and report any variances. They provide patient education and assure patient comfort. They are a vital link that makes a difference in providing exceptional patient care.    Entry Rate: $10.86  Benefits Eligible: No  Shift Details: Variable  Department: Cardiovascular Lab    Minimum Requirements    This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification.
