JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking to hire a full time diesel mechanic with at least 3 years of verifiable experience on semi trucks and trailers. Must know how to perform everything from an oil change to a complete engine and transmission overhaul. Must know how to work on all engine and transmission types. Must know how to work on hydraulic systems and electrical. Fabrication and welding skills are required as well. Must know how to use computer software to read and decipher engine codes. You must have your own tools. Some specialty tools may be supplied. Must be able to work with little to no supervision. It will be helpful to have a Class A CDL so you can test-drive vehicles. This position starts at $15.00 per hour, and after 90 days your job performance will be evaluated and your pay may be increased to as high as $25.00 per hour depending on job performance and knowledge base. We offer health and dental benefits and holiday pay after 90 days, and vacation and 401K benefits after 1 year. Please apply in person and bring a resume if you have one.
