JOB SUMMARY:
Position: Material Support Specialists Lead, Analyst Clearance: This role requires the ability to acquire and maintain a Favorable National Agency Check due to Client's requirements Location: Hill AFB, Ogden, Utah Education: Bachelor's degree preferred Experience: At least 6 years Key Role/Position Description: ? Provide supervisory support and control of the Material Support Specialists ? Report to Site Manager The Material Support Specialists responsibilities include; direct support of customer requirements generated by industrial customers. Maintaining control of Material Control Tracking (MCT) processes for customer-owned material (e.g. Direct Material Inventory (DMI), maintenance shop) requiring temporary storage and moving within the maintenance facility and IA site storage locations and/or shops, ensuring material accountability is maintained for Ripout Material, Prefabricated Material, and/or Courtesy Storage Material. Utilizing various automated systems for research of material movement within the industrial activity related to due-ins from receipt or re-warehousing and as needed monitor Depot Level Repairable (DLR) movement into/out of maintenance. Conduct extensive searches for information pertaining to complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns. ? Independently organize, develop plans, analyze, and conduct a variety of studies and projects to determine and improve the efficiency of receiving, storage, and issue. Maintain, manage, and monitor intra-depot transactional material movement to and from distribution points. Monitor as necessary Off Station re-warehousing/transshipments from IA site storage locations to the industrial customer's (remote) forward work sites. Monitor material movement to ensure DSS visibility of the physical location, and material accountability at the remote site. ? As necessary, monitor Depot Level Repairable (DLR) material movement into/out of maintenance and resolve mismatches between DSS/WSS and maintenance systems. ? Physically accept repairable carcasses from production, validate paperwork, submit requisitions, research, validate, challenge/and resolve DLR carcass tracking charges. ? Monitor status and resolve Stock-In-Transit (SIT) discrepancies. ? Provide oversight of locally generated PQDR/SDR to ensure timely follow-ups and expedites disposition actions. Monitor outgoing Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDR) and coordinate disposition action; and generate (on behalf of the customer) SDRs to ensure timely Swap-Out, replacement and/or credit for discrepant material received by the industrial customer. Provide advice and guidance to appropriate personnel on storage and distribution problems/issues. As required, obtain and maintain appropriate license/certification to operate a variety of material handling equipment.
