JOB SUMMARY:

Position Summary Work with ENVE's engineering team to prepare CAD models in support of new product development. Provide technical support by conducting tests of prototypes, product and components in the lab. Essential Duties Responsibilities ? Prepare clear, complete and accurate 3D models and drawings from rough sketches or notes. ? Use SolidWorks to provide support to engineers by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches and diagrams. ? Work in ENVE's test lab performing required tests and maintaining test schedules as directed by supervisors. ? Aid in developing test specifications, equipment, methods and procedures as directed by engineering. ? Work with manufacturing to ensure engineering samples and prototypes are produced according to engineering instructions. ? As required, prepares technical reports summarizing findings. ? May assist in the selection and assembly of specialized test equipment. ? Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making recommendations. Required Qualifications and Work Experience ? AA degree in a technical field plus 2 years hands-on experience in modeling ? Ability to operate, assemble and maintain test equipment ? Strong modeling skills in SolidWorks including complex surfacing as well as large assemblies ? Proficient in MS Office applications ? Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines ? Excellent communication skills ? Machine shop experience is a plus
