JOB SUMMARY:
Position: Site Manager Mid-level Clearance: This role requires the ability to acquire and maintain a Favorable National Agency Check due to Client?s requirements Location: Ogden, Utah Education: Bachelor degree preferred; Business Administration Experience: At least 6 years Key Role/Position Description: ?The Site Manager (SM) will ensure the successful execution of an aviation supply support services contract for technical and physical distribution operations at Hill AFB in Ogden, UT. ?The SM will lead the on-site team whose objective is to serve as the primary face to the industrial customer on a wide range of issues involving commonly managed and DoD service-managed consumable items, and to ensure the timely processing of customer orders and customer access to product, account and order information. ?The SM will direct work, resolve problems, and communicate effectiveness and progress related metrics up to the multi-site Program Manager and down to the Task Area Leads (Sr. Specialists), and use these to drive exceptional contract execution. ?He/she will ensure that all personnel remain qualified and certified for their assigned tasks. ?The SM will ensure that the established safety and security processes are strictly followed. Furthermore, he/she will ensure that all reporting associated with the contract as required by the contract and as it applies to the associated work to be performed at the Hill AFB site is completed in a timely, accurate fashion. Basic Qualifications: 1.Broad knowledge of the Equipment Specialist role as it applies to US Navy aviation. 2.Broad knowledge of DoD supply management procedures. 3.Broad knowledge of DoD warehouse procedures. 4.Broad knowledge of DoD requisitioning procedures (MILSTRIP/MILSTRAP). 5.General knowledge of DoD procurement. 6.Ability to lead personnel and manage the work of others. Additional Qualifications: 1.Ability to productively function in a multi-disciplined environment with personnel engaged in dissimilar work. 2.Candidate must have strong written and verbal skills in English, and must have demonstrated ability to work in an office setting, and with common equipment found in an office environment (phone, computer, fax and presentation devices). 3.Candidate should have a working command of basic PC tools such as MS word, MS Power Point, MS Excel, etc.
