JOB SUMMARY:
Solution Engineering Technician II-12000CPG SUMMARY Maintain and repair machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines and equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Troubleshoot and correct difficulties encountered on any machinery associated with this operation. * Emphasis on electrical /automation control. * Set-up equipment to produce required products as outline by production managers. * Install and check out any new equipment used by production. * Support the Engineering group during process upgrades or improvements. * Should be able to read blueprints and schematics (electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic). * Maintain general housekeeping of working area and plant. * Follow all Fresenius Policies. * Regular attendance and maintaining a good attendance record is an essential function of the job. * Our Company Values: Honesty amp;amp; Integrity, Quality, Respect amp;amp; Dignity, Innovation amp;amp; Improvement, Teamwork amp;amp; Safety are the guiding principles of employee behavior at FMCNA. QUALIFICATIONS QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. LANGUAGE SKILLS * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. * Must be able to communicate and relate ideas on a technical level. * Ability to write legibly in order to complete the various forms needed to order parts and to inform other employees of any situation that may arise. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
