ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: ? Perform routine inspection for receiving, in-process and finished product. ? Record inspection results on appropriate forms and compare results with company quality standards and/or documentation. ? Perform detailed visual inspection when necessary to determine quality of product where limits are not clearly defined. ? Perform routine audits to ensure that documented production processes are being followed. ? Perform daily audits to ensure that production inspections have been performed and documented. ? Coordinate continuous improvement activities with production, quality and engineering. ? Function as an external supplier auditor. DOCUMENT AND DATA CONTROL FUNCTIONS: ? Organize, compile, and report quality data to identify trends, establish priorities, and recommend improvement activities. ? Document or revise process work instructions accordingly. ? Maintain audit files. ? Maintain HOLD log and Material Review Board disposition records. ? Maintain deviation records. ? Maintain pilot lot records. ? Assist with the maintenance and control of the Quality System documentation. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: ? High school diploma ? 1-2 years of related experience. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: ? Ability to operate and interpret gauges and testing equipment. ? Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. ? Excellent communication skills. ? Ability to work well with others. ? Requires excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office products. ? Must be detail-oriented, organized, a problem solver and a team player.
