JOB SUMMARY:
A reputable CPA firm located in Orem, Utah is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with 3 to 5 years experience. The firm offers competitive compensation and benefits, flexible scheduling, a positive culture and professional work environment. Education Requirements: MAcc or MBA with an Accounting Emphasis; CPA licensure in Utah or short-term plans for obtaining it. Qualifications Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality Able to review tax returns, prepare certain specialized returns Conduct research and prepare memorandums dealing with tax matters. Senior tax specialists also take responsibility for less complex Internal Revenue Service examinations. Assist or conduct engagements in specialized disciplines. Maintain strong client relations by assisting them in problems relating to accounting, data processing, production and inventory control, personnel and organization Work closely with partners, managers and staff Attend professional development and training sessions. Perform other job-related duties as necessary. Compensation is dependent upon experience.
