JOB SUMMARY:
The Respiratory Equipment Assistant performs a vital role in patient care under the direction of a Respiratory Therapist. The Respiratory Equipment Assistant facilitates the timely implementation and delivery of physician orders for home medical equipment and related supplies, which may include Liquid Oxygen. As a valued member of the Respiratory Team, the assistant provides important patient education and is an example of exceptional customer service. *This position will cover the Garfield County area for the Intermountain Homecare - Richfield DME office* Entry Rate: $12.78 Benefits Eligible: No Shift Details: 12 hours per week, variable shifts. Some weekend/call coverage also required. Minimum Requirements Three or more years customer service experience Effective communication and telephone skills Organizational skills and ability to set priorities Work independently and be self-motivated Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, internet and e-mail Current drivers license, insured and reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification.
