JOB SUMMARY:
Creating individualized and personal vacation experiences for all members by recommending, planning, and confirming reservations, transportation, and activities. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times. Answer inquiries, offers suggestions, and provides descriptive literature pertaining to trips, excursions, sports events, concerts, plays, etc. Discuss routes, time schedules, rates, and types of accommodations with patrons to determine preferences and make reservations. Verify arrival and departure times, trace routes on maps, and arrange for baggage handling and other services requested by guests. Delivers tickets. Arrange for visas and other documents required by foreign travelers. Contact individuals and groups to inform them of package tours. Communicate to Door Person guests? requests. Book and log travel, entertainment, dining and other service reservations for guests. Accept, delivers, ship and log items for guests. Work with appropriate department to arrange special events requested by guest. Contact other hotel departments to complete service requested. Assists the General Manager and Sales Department at special functions. Confer regularly with immediate supervisor and other company personnel to plan, coordinate and evaluate services and activities, exchange information, resolve problems, etc. Cross-train with other departments and be able to cover shifts as necessary. Perform other tasks as assigned. WORKING RELATIONSHIP Reports to Canyons Club Manager Works closely with Canyons Club Ski Valet PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Exposure to inclement weather conditions. Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time. Keyboarding. Knowledge of Canyons Resort and Park City, Utah. QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalent. One to two years previous experience in customer service. Knowledge of on-the-mountain activities. Ability to understand guests? inquiries and provide responses. Must have intimate knowledge of area and surrounding sites of interest. Ability to assemble and assess information quickly. Knowledge of travel arrangements that can be utilized. Ability to deal effectively with guests and other Company personnel
