Park City Full-Service, all-suite boutique hotel is now hiring for Full Time Seasonal Food Runners. Pay Rate: $9.00/hr plus Gratuity Currently accepting applications for Winter 2012-2013. Position Summary: To assist in delivering all dishes to a table efficiently while ensuring that all the guests have everything they ordered and that the dish appears the way the guests expected it. Essential Functions: Performs any necessary pre-shift side work. Reviews the menu and becomes thoroughly familiar with all items and means of preparation being offered that day, including the ingredients, preparation, sauces, and garnishes as well as the wine list, what wines compliment which food items, and why. Checks with the Lead Line Cook or Expeditor for any special instructions prior to the beginning of each shift. Ensures the line is properly set up and cleaned. Learns and memorizes all table numbers and seat numbers so they are able to deliver the guests order without having to ask who ordered it. Asks the guest if there is anything else they would like prior to leaving the table. If there is an additional request from the guest the food runner will either bring this item directly to the table or communicate the guest's needs to the Server immediately. Completes assigned side work and assists in closing down the line and cleaning the kitchen. Maintains a constant focus on professionalism and customer service at all times.
