Job Description The role of a Food Service associate is to provide extraordinary service to patients, their families and staff by providing a clean and sanitary environment for the preparation and delivery of food. They are responsible for obtaining food and supplies from the storeroom, cleaning and restocking supplies during down times, operating dishwashing machines, cleaning floors, delivering food carts to patient floors and assisting the food and nutrition services with other duties as assigned. The food service associate can truly make a difference by giving friendly, caring, courteous and professional service to every customer. Entry Rate: 8.84 Benefits Eligible: Yes Shift Details: will work some week day shifts and some weekend shifts Minimum Requirements * Read, write, and communicate effectively in English * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to follow instructions * Customer service skills * Food Handlerapos;apos;s Permit (as required by the County) Physical Requirements * Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, Walking Preferred Qualifications * Food service work experience Please Note After applying, please check your email often.
