JOB SUMMARY:
Park City Full-Service, all-suite boutique hotel is now hiring for Full Time General Manager. Thank you for your interest in an employment opportunity with our award-winning team. Position Summary: To oversee the complete operation of the property in a manner consistent with the mission, operating philosophy, and standards of the Park City Employers. To provide the leadership required to achieve the goals of guests, owners, and employees. To represent the vision and leadership of a five star resort. Essential Functions: Participates in formulating and administering company policies, directing and coordinating all Divisional department goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives. Develops, reviews, updates and implements business strategic planning includes sales and financial performance. Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives. Ensures that the annual planning process is completed in a timely basis, to include the sales and marketing plan, operating budget, capital budget, and human resource plan. Keeps the Executive Management Team and the owners informed on a regular basis. Confers with Executive Officer and other administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions. Maintains a positive work environment at the property. Ensures all employees have the opportunity to communicate with management. Becomes actively involved in the activities of the community and contributes to their success. Facilitates Management Group meetings. Ensures property cleanliness on a consistent basis. Takes daily tours of the property to ensure that the quality of the facilities is maintained at a high level. Interacts with guests and owners on a daily basis. Continues to innovate based on their input. Approves all capital expenditures. Remains informed of all capital items with issues to resolve on a daily basis. Approves all monthly forecasts. Monitors monthly profit and loss reports. Reviews and supports Engineering and Sales to oversee new technology used for improvement to provide cost reduction, safety, guest requirements and market growth. Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: This position requires a minimum formal education of a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven to ten years job-related experience.
