Our services include Housekeeping, Public Area Cleaning, Overnight Deep Kitchen Cleaning, Stewarding and Exterior High Rise Window and Chandelier cleaning. All of our customers are nationally established well known hotels, casinos, vacation ownership resorts and malls. Due to our rapid growth and expansion we are seeking high quality individuals for the position of: Hotel Maintenance Worker Summary of Job: The Hotel Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing general maintenance work to ensure hotel maintenance quality and safety standards are achieved and maintained. Essential Job Functions: * The Hotel Maintenance Worker will respond to service calls * He/She will complete maintenance request work orders from all departments in a timely basis * Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. * The Hotel Maintenance Worker will ensure that equipment is working properly. He/She will Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. * The Hotel Maintenance Worker will complete other special projects as assigned by the Supervisor. * Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. * Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. * Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment. * Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists. * Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery. * Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges. * Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. * Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work. * Is identified as a role model in the company and a amp;ldquo;customer service superstaramp;rdquo; to the client. * Is pro-active in contacting the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Director of Operations for advanced learning and work activities. * Is consistently friendly when interacting with co-workers, guests and property employees. * Adheres to all company and regulatory policies. Reports any wrong-doing to corporate headquarters in Miami, Florida. * Is receptive to coaching and feedback from Management. * Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and long hours; if deemed necessary * Acts as a role model to other Service Company employees. Qualifications: * Must have previous hotel maintenance experience. * High School education or GED Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Must meet company and clientsappearance standards. * Ability to perform all duties as required with or without an accommodation. * Knowledge of Back-of-House Operations in Hotels and Restaurants. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work long hours.
