Preparation Cook is needed for a hotel located in Park City. Preparation cook is a member of the Food Beverage Team. S/he prepares and stores food for the hotel restaurant and banquets following our Standard Operating Procedures and Food Safety procedures to ensure consistent quality . The Preparation Cook is required to work well in a team environment and enjoy serving customers in a positive, friendly manner. Part time prep cook 7am-4pm 3-4 days a week. Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards. Prep food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare over estimated needs. Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull. Note any out of stock items or possible shortages. Help with dishwashing on busy days or in the down season. Cleaning of the kitchen; floors, dish area, storage rooms and back prep areas. Ability to meet sanitation standards and requirements with handling of the equipment and supplies. Seeking an individual for long term work. Candidate must be reliable, able to work required hours, responsible and have no outside interference with job duties. Sense of urgency and speed is required physical endurance and strength is a must as the position requires hours of physical labor ans lifting of up to 30lbs.
