JOB SUMMARY:
Manage and prioritize multiple reporting requests in a multi-business line environment, while maintaining data standards and policies throughout the organization. Work with business leaders to design and build reports based on business requirements that are easy to use, well formatted, and consistent across the organization. Analyze, evaluate, and interpret data from key systems (e.g., Dynamics GP, sms|Host, Siriusware, Micros 9700, BI 360, Timberline, etc). Recommend new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information. Constant analysis of data to provide management with opportunities for improvement and data cleanup is necessary. Ensure a high level of accuracy, security, consistency and clarity of presentation in report output. Create and maintain reporting standards and related database objects as necessary to address emerging user requirements. Develop an expert understanding of data policies, reporting standards, and reporting infrastructure. Manage and provide oversight to all SQL databases within the enterprise. Design and maintain on-demand custom reports using MS SQL Server/ Reporting Services or other application proprietary softwares. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ? Office situation, i.e., sitting, standing or walking in a small area. ? Repetitive keyboard action. QUALIFICATIONS ? 3-5 years of experience as a report or business analyst. ? Knowledge of creating and maintaining SSRS reporting environment. ? Advanced proficiency with SSRS, Excel, and report creation in a data warehouse environment. ? Demonstrated experience writing queries. ? Aptitude for analyzing data in a logical, meaningful and efficient manner. ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills required. ? Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ? Proven analytical and problem solving skills. ? Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks and meet deadlines ? Proven ability to interact with other departments and with various levels of management. ? Experience in Hospitality required and Real Estate preferred. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor?s degree in Information Systems or related field AND 3 years of experience as a Reporting or DataAnalyst or related field.
