JOB SUMMARY:

To produce machine made snow for skiers / riders, while striving for quality and efficiency to help insure early season terrain as well as ski season longevity. DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and foster a teamwork approach. Teach and utilize proper snowmaking logistics. Teach and utilize proper snowmobile / ATV operation. Teach how to set up / tear down all types of snow guns. Teach proper snow quality checks. Complete understanding of plant facilities. Assist Shift Lead with day-to-day operations. WORKING RELATIONSHIP Reports to Shift Lead, Supervisor and Manager PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather. Indoor and outdoor work environment. Ability to ski/ride all conditions. Able to lift up to and more than 100 lbs. 2/3 of the time or more. Standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers to feel, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch, talk, hear, taste or smell 2/3 of the time or more. Working with hazardous materials and noise. Working holidays, weekends and nights Ability to understand and work with many types of equipment. QUALIFICATIONS High School education or equivalent. Basic mechanical skills. Ability to drive a snowmobile, valid driver?s license. Computer operations required. Previous related work experience required. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
