JOB SUMMARY:
Perform aesthetician duties (facials, manicures, pedicures, etc) in a resort setting DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Provide excellent customer service Design personalized treatments based on client's individual needs. Promote the health and wellness benefits of services to guests. Maintain an organized, clean and professional work environment - both in the room and in personal appearance. Create a positive experience and atmosphere for our guests and fellow Guides. Must be honest, trustworthy, and have a positive, professional attitude. Engaged in all aspects of the spa business, and is able to identify and address business needs (example: restocking room, recognizing inventory levels, product knowledge and treatment and retail sales). Must adhere to all guidelines set forth by the Management Team and Spa Employee Manual. Experienced in self business promotion with the desire to grow our business. Must exhibit exceptional communication and strong interpersonal skills with guests, fellow therapists and sales staff. Illustrate strong background in retail by consistently meeting or exceeding established sales goals in product sales, treatment upgrades and return business. Create accurate guest notes to enhance return guest experience Safeguard guest confidentiality and privacy Attend and participate in training and meetings Flexibility in performing promotional treatments designed specifically for groups. Demonstrate teamwork through guest service, spa cleanliness and willingness to help out when needed WORKING RELATIONSHIP Reports to Spa Director Receives direction from Spa Supervisor and Lead Therapist Interacts daily with other massage therapists and aestheticians PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Extended sitting, standing, bending, lifting, etc. QUALIFICATIONS Master Aesthetician or similar experience in a four-diamond hotel or other high-end facility preferred. Experienced with skin care, waxing and nail services. Must carry a current Utah Esthetics License. Must pass background check. Must be able to work all shifts (Day or swing, seven days a week, holidays, special events, etc.)
