JOB SUMMARY:

Description Assist servers in servicing the Food and beverage needs for guests while dining at the restaurant. Clean the dining area following the departure of each guest; prepare dining area for incoming guests. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Provide superior service to our customers at all times. Set tables for daily service before and in between guests. Stock service stations with supplies, beverages, condiments etc. Assist servers with delivering and serving food and/or beverages to guests. Serve and refill water, bread and coffee as necessary. Expedite food and necessary beverages. Accommodate guests? requests as needed. Clean and clear tables. Clean and neaten service stations and other work areas. Assist with hosting duties as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. Traits/ Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS High School education desirable, plus one -two years of fine dining serving experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Must have a valid Food Handler?s Permit and Tips Sips certificate Good personal hygiene and neat appearance. Ability to perform job duties. Good manual dexterity. Ability to deal with customers courteously and efficiently at all times. WORKING RELATIONSHIP Reports to Restaurant Manager Works closely with Host/Hostess, Servers, Bartender, Cooks, etc PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to bend, lift and carry heavy objects.
