JOB SUMMARY:

Perform a variety of tasks in the restaurant kitchen regarding dishwashing and cleaning. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Operate a commercial dishwasher, including loading and unloading dishes and running the machine properly. Scrub pots and pans and wash any other dishes that cannot be put in the dishwasher. Mop floors. Clean and tidy kitchen work areas. Take out trash. Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times. Follow company guidelines while interacting with the guests and respond to all guests in a courteous, efficient manner. Perform other tasks as assigned. Traits/ Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS High School graduation or equivalent, training in a culinary arts school plus two years of professional cooking experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to bend, lift and carry heavy objects. WORKING RELATIONSHIP Reports to Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef. Works closely with Servers, Bartender, cooks, etc
