JOB SUMMARY:
Sell lift tickets and/or performs similar sales tasks; to provide customers with resort information. Shifts/Days: Must be available to work everyday including weekends and holidays. Starting at 7:30am and ending no later than 4pm. Positions Start: Approx. September 22nd and also on approx. November 27th. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES ?Provide superior service to our customs (internal and external) at all times. Follow The Resort?s etiquette guidelines. ?Carry out opening tasks, including handling cash and ticket stock from cash room, checking and setting up cash and ticket stock for ticket booth, pre-punching tickets if necessary. ?Sell tickets to customers, including pre-printed and/or computer-generated tickets, collect payment and return correct change. ?Answer customer questions and provide information on ski packages and ticket options: quote prices, explain special terms and conditions. Provide general information about the resort. ?Effectively handle customer issues and special requests. Explain refund policy. Refer customer issues to supervisor when necessary. ?Complete all necessary administrative reports/logs. Maintain records related to ticket sales. Count cash receipts. ?Assist in general cleanup and maintenance of ticket booth or other sales and recreation areas. ?Perform other duties as assigned. WORKING RELATIONSHIP ?Moderate supervision is received from Tickets Supervisor or other senior staff member. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ?Sitting/standing for extended periods of time. ?Use of keyboard. QUALIFICATIONS ?High School education or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. ?Basic reading and math skills. ?Aptitude for learning how to operate computerized ticket system. ?Previous ticket sales experience desirable. ?Previous experience in customer service preferred. ?Ability to work under pressure of high customer volume.
