A thriving Provo employer has an opening for a entry level Designer / Drafter. In this position you will be working in our Documentation Department in our Provo, Utah, facility.. This department creates detailed drawings for injection molded parts, die cast parts, sheet metal parts, machined parts and assemblies. The position requires that you are proficient with Adobe Creative Suite 2012 as well as Auto CAD or Rhino NURBS. Some overtime is required. Starting rate of $10 hourly but will increase depending on experience. We offer excellent health benefits, paid days off, bonuses, and competitive rate increases. Duties will include: * Perform Engineering Change Orders on existing products. * Working with engineers to create and detail drawings for new products. * Working with engineers to create and detail drawings for manufacturing fixtures. * Create and detail drawings for assemblies for production and working in other areas of the design process.. * Integrate SKUs into a dynamic product catalog. * Design product images, catalog design and marketing material. Required Skills *Ability to use CAD to create drawings and take instruction and work with engineers and technicians; but also have ability to work independently * Proficiency in Auto CAD or Rhino NURBS * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite Required Experience * A minimum of 1 year Mechanical Drafting and Design degree OR equal experience with CAD drawing software, or similar
