JOB SUMMARY:
This position provides a high level of subject matter expertise in the following areas: health care operations, business intelligence, statistics, and analytics. The incumbent supports development and implementation of effective clinical and financial data reporting and analytic solutions to meet enterprise and regional needs, including reports regarding information to meet regulatory requirements and research publication projects. This position provides consultation and support in the development, analysis, interpretation, and management of a variety of highly complex data sources to support process improvement, cost reduction and increased safety and patient satisfaction. Entry Rate: 29.80 Benefits Eligible: Yes Minimum Requirements Experience in a role requiring a working knowledge of SQL (structured query language) quality improvement principles, theory, study design and statistical modeling, and a fundamental knowledge of database design principles. Experience in a role requiring demonstrated success in the development, analysis, interpretation, and management of a variety of complex data sources to include all facets of decision support / financial reporting. Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail and scheduling applications as well as statistical software systems such as SAS, SPSS, Statit, etc. Experience in a role requiring a working knowledge of SQL (structured query language) quality improvement principles, theory, study design and statistical modeling, and a fundamental knowledge of database design principles. Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Master s Degree Experience with the following tools and technologies: Oracle RDBMS, Cognos, Net Charts. Fundamental programming knowledge (jsp, pl/sql). Web development experience (HTML, Javascript, java). Applied understanding of graphical user interface design best practices, and experience with query tuninng. Experience in a hospital setting.
