Some overtime required We are currently seeking a Senior CAD, CAM and CATALOG DESIGNER to design all our production parts as well as design the creative for all catalogs and direct marketing programs. In this position you will be working in the Documentation Department in our Provo, Utah facility. This department creates detailed CAD, CAM and PDF drawings for injection molded parts, die cast parts, sheet metal parts, machined parts and assemblies. This department requires you are proficient with Adobe Creative Suite 2012 as well as Auto CAD, Rhino NURBS, BobCAM and Solid Works. Duties to include: -Perform Engineering Change Orders on existing products -Working with engineers to create and detail drawings for new products -Working with engineers to create and detail drawings for manufacturing fixtures -Create and detail drawings for assemblies for production and working in other areas of the design process -Integrate SKUs into a dynamic product catalog -Design product images, catalog design and marketing material Required Skills: -Ability to use CAD to create drawings and take instruction and work with engineers and technicians; but also have ability to work independently -Proficiency in Auto CAD and Rhino NURBS -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite -Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite -Proficiency in Solid Works Responsibilities: -Maintain a high level of quality and artistic design throughout all Rustica Hardware printed materials, CAD design, CAM design, catalog work and any other design concept necessary -Manage the building and maintaining of brand and creative style guides -Participate in the initial product development meetings, helping to identify overall goals and messages to meet the project needs while ensuring the highest level of creative quality -Conceptualize and create overall design concepts including assumptions, scope, and creative designs -Communicate design goals and messages to the creative team, ensuring integration of design requirements into all phases of production -Lead creative idea sessions to ensure highest creative quality is met for each project -Develop out-of-the-box ideas and help identify the ideas with the best solutions -Oversee and guide activities of design team members -Create and maintain a consistent and appropriate look for projects and collateral pieces -Work with the President of Operations to develop a strategy for constant process improvement of the creative process including the research of industry trends of emerging technologies and creative techniques -Interface with both internal and external customers to build strong working relationships -Subscribe to all relevant competitive companies to ensure the receipt of marketing materials in order to monitor trends in the marketplace regarding products, promotional activities, creative strategies, etc. -Coordinate the development of other marketing materials through interfacing in a consultative role with Marketing and Team Leaders Qualifications: -Mandatory prior catalog and magazine production/design experience -Mandatory CAD and CAM design experience -Minimum of 2 to 5 years Senior/Expert experience -Expert in Adobe CS5 (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator - MAC platform) XHTML, CS5, and Quark -E-mail campaign design a plus -Manufacturing experience a plus -Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet aggressive deadlines -Experience working collaboratively HOW TO APPLY: E-MAIL YOUR RESUME AND COVER LETTER TO: info@rusticahardware.com QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED FOR A INTERVIEW
