JOB SUMMARY:
This is a part time position. This position will work 2 twelve hour shifts. This is a 50 percent days, 50 percent nights position. The Registered Nurse on this unit will serve a diverse patient population. We care for surgical patients undergoing general and specialty surgeries and a broad range of medical patients. We provide a strong staff of experienced nurses who nurture new employees and new graduate RNs during their orientation process. Our unit is very progressive and we are consistently creating an excellent team to provide extraordinary care to our patients. The Registered Nurse (RN) practices within the scope of practice defined in the Utah Nurse Practice Act and theUrban Central Region HospitalNursing Standards Manual. The RN understands and participates in a collaborative approach to patient care delivery and assumes shift to shift accountability for that plan of care. Continuous education and personal professional development are an expectation for nurses on our unit. All positions require flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts to meet the needs of the unit. Shifts are for 12 hours beginning at 0700 or 1900. Alternating weekends and holidays required. Nursing staff are required to wear scrub uniforms and the first 2 are provided by the facility. Minimum Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in Utah, or license eligible This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification.
