JOB SUMMARY:

Creates CAD drawings and documentation relative to mechanical engineering design functions. Performs drawing ?red-line? functions as required. Creates drawings for engineering projects. Performs other related duties, as assigned. Interface with other team members to complete design models and/or drawings. **May be required to occasionally perform clerical, assembly, and/or fabrication tasks, as workload dictates.** Associate's degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field,0-5 years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. SolidWorks design experience. AutoCAD Mechanical design experience. Experience in mechanical design either in design or installation/construction. Strong technical drawing skills, especially in 3D modeling. Competent with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to produce fabrication/welding/assembly drawings from 3D model efficiently. Excellent problem solving and time management skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English both written and verbal. Able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment. Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
