Our mission is: excellence in the provision of healthcare services to communities in the Intermountainregion.    Our patients deserve the best in medicine, and we deliver.    The purpose of this position is to perform all professional coding responsibilities for an assigned group of clinics and/or providers.    Minimum Qualifications    National Professional Coding Certification (CPC or CCS-P) from an accredited program.    Three years of coding experience.    Preferred Qualifications    Spine and/or Neurosurgery specialty coding experience.    Coding experience in an ambulatory or clinic practice setting.    Understands and applies medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and disease process related to specific physician practices.    Knowledge of sequencing diagnoses and procedures codes outlined in the ICD-9 CM Official Coding Guidelines, AMA CPT-instructions, CPT Assistant, and CMS guidelines.    Experience in providing effective written and verbal communications.    Physical Requirements    Hearing/Listening, Manual Dexterity, Seeing, Speaking
