PT Service Center Rep (Teller) are needed for a Pleasant Grove Credit Union to provide professional and courteous customer service to our members. Essential Job Functions and Duties: * Independently processes a variety of teller transactions. Balances all monetary totals daily, including but not limited to cash received disbursements and transfers. * Answers Members questions concerning account information , products and services. * Promotes and sells new Member accounts, ensures Members receive appropriate products and services to meet their individual needs. * Demonstrates core values; Caring, Innovative, Honest, Fair, Dedicated. * Validating account information. * Examining deposit or withdrawal documents for completeness and accuracy. * Qualifies potential new Members for membership. * Authorizes, approves, and researches transactions; performs overrides, approves check holds, and makes check cashing decisions. Qualifications / Requirements: High school diploma or GED. * One year prior financial institution experience is preferred, or two-three years comparable experience in cash handling and customer service, required. * Two-three years experience in a sales and customer service environment. * Good communication skills and professional demeanor. * The ability to conduct business in a confidential manner. * Basic computer skills working in Windows-based environments. * Ability to work in a high volume cash-handling environment. * Must be flexible and willing to work a variety of schedules including evenings and weekends.
