Job Description: This person will perform a variety of duties designed to service, repair and maintain parts of Boart Longyear drill rigs and construction type equipment. Some of the repairs you be preforming include working on hydraulic systems, diesel power machinery and high pressure systems. You must have the ability to diagnose defects in heavy duty equipment and be able to perform a quick turnaround to get these rigs back on the road. Mechanic must be able to remain in a standing position for extended periods of time. You need to be able to lift your arms above shoulder level to install and remove broken or wore out components. You must have skills in the care and use of hand and power tools and be able to manipulate these tools in areas of limited space. You must be able to works safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1+ year of related experience 2-3 yearsamp;apos; experience Be able to lift 100 pounds frequently Pass a drug screen Pass a background check Have a good driving record Possess a valid driveramp;apos;s license Must have your own tools Able to work graveyard shifts Be willing to work 10 hours days for 10 days on, 4 off As an industry leader, Boart Longyear is committed to maintaining the outstanding level of quality service.
