Accounting Manager is needed for a Salt Lake employer. Req ID #5747BR. Our Finance team is looking for a results-oriented individual with effective technical and communication skills. Assignment responsibilities include managing, scheduling, expediting and maintaining the general ledger system; supervising the preparation of required GAAP financial statements and special reports, reviewing each for unusual changes or fluctuations; monitoring input and insuring timely completion; and coordinating preparation of annual strategic/operating plan submissions. Required Experience: * 7-12 years General Accounting experience. Strong systems background in an accounting environment. Several years' supervisory experience of professional staff. * Must have in-depth knowledge of all government regulations and regulating agencies and experience with Sarbanes-Oxley reporting and audit requirements. * BS Accounting degree. Desired Skills: * An advanced degree in Finance or a CPA.
