JOB SUMMARY:
The Brain Institute at the University of Utah seeks a Bioinformatics Data Analyst to join Dr. Julie Korenberg's research group. This individual will oversee the database design and maintenance for a multi-diciplinary NIH-funded research project integrating molecular genetic, MRI imaging, and neurocognitive data for Down syndrome subjects and healthy controls. He/she will work with researchers in order to establish and extend a database that is compatible with the existing Down syndrome database of cognitive and genetic variation. We are seeking a candidate who has excellent analytical and communications skills with an understanding of database structures and experience with at least one Electronic Data Capturing System (i.e., TrialDb, Clintrials, etc.
