Education and/or experience in early childhood is preferred, but training is available for those committed to a long-term position. Fun team to work with! This is a great opportunity to gain experience working with high-risk families for those planning to go into human services, social work, child development, child psychology or special education fields. Provo substance abuse treatment facility is seeking outgoing individuals to join our child development team at our non-profit therapeutic childcare program. We are seeking high-energy, creative and dependable individuals to help us create a safe and nurturing environment for infants, toddlers and preschoolers in high-risk situations. Responsibilities include assisting lead teachers in classroom management and facilitating social-emotional curricula for age-appropriate development. Must be at least 21 years of age with reliable transportation. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. This is a non-smoking employer.
