JOB SUMMARY:
To collect outstanding loan balances in order to meet the collection goals of the department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully. ?Ensures the needs of the owners and the credit union are met through professional, legal and effective collection procedures. ?Exemplifies as a team member to promote and maintain effective partnerships with team and customers. ?Incorporates MACU values and philosophy while fulfilling your responsibilities as a representative of the Loan Control department and the credit union. ?Collects a category of assigned accounts. ?Collects past due loans, resolve problems with member loans and accurately document all collection information to minimize credit union losses. ?Counsels with members by telephone and mail regarding loan problems, and record any contact made with members. ?Keys file maintenance on accounts and transfers payments on delinquent accounts. ?Performs other duties as assigned.
