Title: Compliance Analyst Location: Zions Bancorporation - HDQTR * Responsible for performing diverse and complex analysis of customer data and reviews to ensure integrity of that information. * Conduct customer and account level research on a wide variety of data in an effort to identify suspicious and/or illegal activity and report findings. * Make decisions and provide recommendations to the Regional Supervisor and Corporate High Risk Manager based on research as it relates to the manual monitoring function. * Prepare correspondence which may include management reports. May assist with preparation of registration and licensing documents, policy and procedure manuals as needed. * Distributes compliance updates and information based on research to the Regional Supervisor. * Maintain files, records, and documentation as it relates to the High-risk customer review function. * Assist the corporation in achieving and maintaining satisfactoryA?A? or better ratings on all internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory examinations. * Support/follow existing department policies and procedures for performing customer compliance reviews. * Other compliance duties as assigned. * BachelorA??s degree in finance, accounting, economics (preferred) and/or related experience. * Preferable 1-2 years of experience in BSA/AML. * Basic knowledge of financial principles and regulatory issues related to the banking and BSA/AML compliance field. * Experience in performing account activity investigations preferred. * Excellent communication (both written and oral), organizational and follow-up skills. * Solutions-oriented team player with relationship-building ability. * Ability to apply critical thinking skills * Ability to meet deadlines
