Concrete Cutting Machine Operator

JOB SUMMARY:
The Penhall Company?s Salt Lake City office is currently accepting applications for both entry level experienced Concrete Cutters. This is a position that, through strong leadership, direction and proven standard operating procedures, can offer stability and respect within the concrete cutting and demolition industry. Exceptional candidates will have the ability to think creatively while making only justifiable changes to ensure a safe and predictable environment. Position Requirements: ? Strong mechanical ability a must ? Ability to lift 45 or more pounds ? Must have clean MVR and maintain a positive driving record ? Opportunities for travel and/or overtime exist so open availability is a must. ? Because we are a service driven company, hours will vary based on customer needs. ? Proficiency in any or all of the following tools; wall saw, core drill, flat saw, hand saws, ring saws, compressor tools. Additional Skills: ? Deep Sawing experience a plus but not necessary ? Soft demolition experiences a plus ? Deep core drilling experiences a plus ? Class A CDL is not necessary but a plus ? Commercial construction experience is preferred ? Bobcat and backhoe experience a plus but not essential. ? Class C driver?s license is required with a clean driving record Position Duties: ? Cooperation with job site supervisors / customers ? Daily interaction with Penhall Company dispatch, admin and management personnel ? Inspection, general maintenance, security and cleanliness of all company equipment ? Responsibility of job related paperwork, pre-task planning, and forewarning of changes to ensure safety ? Transportation, accurate use of and maintenance of Penhall Company equipment to include, but not limited to: diamond blades, flat saw, core drill, wall saw, jackhammer small tools Benefits Additional Info: The Penhall Company offers a comprehensive and appropriate benefits package that includes medical, dental and life insurance.
